Part of P3's mission is proving the existance of the paranormal. We strive to be able to prove it to even the most stubborn of skeptics. To do this, we know that our methods must be both scientific and above reproach. As such, we adhere to the following guidelines:
Item: Digital Still Camera
Description: We use still cameras ranging from your basic digital point and shoot all the way up to the more advanced Digital SLRs. |
Item: Video Camera
Description: Among the types of video cameras used are InfraRed Night Vision, VHS Hand Held and High Definition Video. |
Item: 16 Channel DVR System
Description: Capable of recording up to 16 cameras at once, this device allows us to visually record any goings on in multiple places on the site and ensures that nothing is missed. It is used with Infrared Night Vision cameras and can record up to 500 hours of video per channel. |
Item: EMF Detector
Description: The Cell Sensor shown to the left is but one type of EMF detector we use. We also use the widely recognized K2 Meter as well other standard types. These devices allow us to monitor for fluctuations in the local electromagnetic field. The idea behind this is that a spike in the local field could be caused by an entity attempting to manifest itself in some manner. Also, current theory says that the K2 Meter can be used to hold conversations of sorts with intelligent entities. |
Item: Digital Audio Recorder
Description: These devices are as varied as our other tools, ranging from small hand held devices on up to professional studio quality sound recording equipment. We use the recorders to perform what is known as an EVP or Electronic Voice Phonomenon. For more on this, see the article on the home page. But the gist is that sometimes a audio recorder can record sounds outside of the range of human hearing, which could be answers to questions. |
Item: Kestral Environmental Sensor
Description: The Kestral allows us to measure and monitor the conditions in the immediate area. It measures Current/ Maximum/ Average Wind Speed, Temperature, Wind Chill, Relative Humidity, Heat Stress Index, Dewpoint Temperature, Wet Bulb Temperature, Barometric Pressure, Altitude, and Density Altitude. |
