Step inside Middle Point School, also known as the Middle Point Normal School and the Union School, a historic building established in 1885. With a murky past and multiple identities, research into its history is challenging, but its walls have witnessed over a century of student life—and secrets.
The east annex was added in 1930, and in 1932, the building underwent a complete remodel, including the removal of the third story. Despite its educational purpose, the school now echoes with whispers of its mysterious past. With crime rates in Middle Point higher than the national average, some speculate that the school’s haunted reputation is linked to dark deeds and tragic events.
